What is Agent Finder?

We’ve launched the Agent Finder tool to help players who are actively looking for a new agent find the right one faster.

Around a third of professional footballers do not use an agent, and a quarter of players who do use an agent will switch agents in a year.

Rather than being limited to their local network of contacts or agents that approach them, professional players can now browse a list of leading Trusted Agents with expertise in the countries they’d want to play in, or make use of our unique recommender tool to get matched instantly to agents that suit their needs.

When they see a Trusted Agent they’re interested in, players can send them a Representation Request via TransferRoom.

What does this mean for you as a Trusted Agent?

In a recent survey, 67% of agents told us your main priority is to recruit more players. Agent Finder is designed to help you with this.

Players will be able to reach out to Trusted Agents via TransferRoom if they’re interested in using your services. Look out for Player Representation Requests via email and within your list of messages in the platform, where they'll look like this:



By replying to these quickly, you can sign up more players to your agency and grow your potential commission.

Do agents need to pay to access this feature?

We are building a Player Market tool which will allow agents to approach players who are actively looking for a new agent in their target market(s). This will be a paid-for feature.

While we recruit players to TransferRoom and test this new feature, access to inbound Representation Requests on the platform is provided at no extra cost. 

Which players can access TransferRoom?

We only want you to receive Representation Requests from players of the standard you’d be interested in representing. That’s why we manually verify every player that tries to register.

Players are only allowed access to the platform if they match our database of professional players and are aged 18+.

Will a Trusted Agent’s existing players see the Agent Finder tool?

This tool is designed to help you build your business by giving you access to more potential player clients. You can be assured that your existing verified players will be protected.

Any player that is already connected to a Trusted Agent and verified by you will not see the Agent Finder tool within the TransferRoom platform. 

We’d always recommend verifying your full portfolio of players. Verified players get 5x more transfer interest on TransferRoom compared to non-verified players.

What will players be able to do on TransferRoom?

Once they’ve created a TransferRoom account, players that aren’t already verified by a Trusted Agent will have the option to connect with their existing agent, or find a new agent.

If they choose to look for a new agent, they can either:

• Browse agents manually by country or search by name
• Use our agency recommender tool for a smart recommendation of the 10 most suitable agents (see below for how this works)
  
  

If a player that is already verified by a Trusted Agent signs up for TransferRoom, they won’t see the Agent Finder tool. They will see their activity feed (including a real-time view of their transfer options if you’ve activated the Player Loyalty Booster feature) and player stats.

How does the agency recommender work?

A player chooses the countries and leagues they’re interested in playing in.  The algorithm takes into account a player’s preferred leagues, the level of the player, the agent’s current portfolio and track record, among other things.  It produces a list of 10 agencies that best match the player's needs.

The player can then choose to send a Representation Request to as many of these agents as they’d like.
