Forza Sports Group has joined football’s digital marketplace, opening up new and exciting opportunities for its players.
TransferRoom gives us direct access to the decision makers of hundreds of clubs worldwide with up to date information regarding requirements and financial possibilities. That’s what it’s all about in our business.
Amsterdam-headquartered Forza, whose clients include Jurrien Timber, the 20 year-old defender who was a surprise inclusion in the Netherlands’ European Championship squad this summer, and Lassina Traore, who recently moved from Ajax to Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine, has become one of the first Trusted Agents of TransferRoom.
Through TransferRoom, Forza now has access to decision makers in more than 550 clubs across 56 countries, meaning it can promote its players quickly and at scale based on up-to-date market information and clubs’ demands.
Tim Vrouwe (pictured), Director, Forza Sports Group, said: “TransferRoom gives us direct access to the decision makers of hundreds of clubs worldwide with up to date information regarding requirements and financial possibilities. That’s what it’s all about in our business.”
Getting ahead in the market
By receiving instant notifications every time a TransferRoom member club is looking for a player matching the profile of one of Forza’s players, the agency will no longer miss out on opportunities, keeping it ahead of the competition and empowering its clients.
Vrouwe added: “The fact that TransferRoom is careful selecting agents for their platform is crucial to us. Being selected to be part of TransferRoom gives us an edge on other companies and this is another service that we can provide our clients.”
More than 300 clubs, including Arsenal, Juventus, PSV Eindhoven, Anderlecht, Shakhtar Donetsk and FC Porto, have already decided to work with agents on TransferRoom and are now looking to share transfer requirements with Trusted Agents in the current window.
Niel Cuijvers, Chief Scout at Belgian club KVC Westerlo, said the addition of agencies, such as Forza, to TransferRoom, is making business easier to conduct.
He explained: “With TransferRoom, we can have direct contact with the real agents of players and have less contact with intermediaries. In addition, we are able to see immediately the data evaluation on each proposed player, have a clear overview of the proposed players and are able to give the agents direct feedback.”
The key to success is mutual trust and access to TransferRoom for management companies and individual representatives is by invitation only.
