Federico Silva, the CEO of Ninety Co, a fast-growing agency in Argentina, explains why TransferRoom is an essential tool in their transfer business, and why they upgraded their package.
It’s [TransferRoom] almost essential. In the mornings, the first thing I do in my office is check how the market is: the pitch requests, the pitch opportunities that the platform provides.
The tool you need to save time as an agent
For every football agent and agency, the competition is getting bigger and better, and how they use their precious time is becoming more and more important.
To get reliable and up-to-date market information and access to the right contacts at clubs across the world is crucial when you’re trying to beat the competition and grow your agency’s reputation.
Ninety Co is an Argentinian agency representing over 15 players, including Agustin Sant'Anna of Red Bull Bragantino in Brazil, Club Estudiantes de La Plata’s Matias Godoy and CA Talleres player David Zalazar (both in Argentina), and Gustavo Cortez of Independiente del Valle in Ecuador.
Their agency is growing fast and they are now opening up a new level of transfer opportunities on a global scale.
A key part of that has been TransferRoom.
They joined TransferRoom, world football’s transfer marketplace, as a Trusted Agency in 2024. There they get real-time access to market intelligence including the squad and financial requirements of over 800 clubs, they can send targeted pitches to the decision-makers from those clubs in more than 130 leagues, and they get an unrivalled source of live player and market data.
“It’s a very important part - I’d say almost essential,” said Federico Silva, the CEO of Ninety Co, in the video below. “In the mornings, the first thing I do in my office is check how the market is: the pitch requests, the pitch opportunities that the platform provides.
“From there, with the clubs I already have a relationship with through the platform, I contact them directly. And many times, through the platform itself, we make the offers. But beyond the specific cases, on a global or macro level, it’s also very important to determine where the needs are in each market.
“From an agency’s perspective, I can tell you that for us, this last year has been very important; we’ve grown very quickly. We started this company with four people, and today there are 15 people working with me and my partner. And I can tell you that for agencies, it’s an incredibly valuable tool. It provides many possibilities. It can be a tool to close deals.
“Sometimes deals don’t happen directly through the platform. They happen through other tools we have, through our contacts, through our network. But the opportunities on the platform are there, and I think it’s very important for agencies and, I assume, for clubs as well.”
They joined TransferRoom on a basic package initially, and have since upgraded their subscription after it became an essential part of their transfer business.
“The reason [we upgraded on TransferRoom] was that we started with a more basic package, and from there, we felt comfortable with the platform,” Silva added. “We had more players to introduce into the market and make available, so we expanded towards that, and now we also have the opportunity to be here.”
Months of meetings in two days
Silva was speaking at the TransferRoom Summit in Berlin, in March 2025. TransferRoom hold various in-person and online events every year, and in this case, the Berlin & Online Summit brought together over 380 clubs and 60 agencies for three days of transfer talks, one-to-one meetings, and exclusive networking.
And for Trusted Agents like Silva, it gives them the chance to hold months’ worth of meetings in a few days and save a huge amount of money on travel.
Silva said: “If I had to meet with - I don’t know how many clubs are here, but I know there are many… and agencies as well, with whom we’ll be sharing time, it would probably take me months to visit them all, to get to know them, or have a conversation or contact with so many clubs and agencies.
“Having that possibility in just two days - beyond the money saved on travel and accommodation - I think the biggest value this opportunity provides is in terms of time.
“For us, it's about time management. The possibility of strengthening contacts: today we also have the chance to keep expanding our network.
“But I believe the future of the football industry has a lot to do with the speed of opportunities and our speed in responding to those needs. That’s on the market level.”
