by Jack Hyom

All teams in Venezuela’s top two divisions gain direct access to the key people at over 750 clubs worldwide after Liga FUTVE signs an agreement with TransferRoom.

Gaining access to TransferRoom’s network is a very important move and an extraordinary step forward, which enables each club to have direct access to decision makers and Sporting Directors of clubs from so many important leagues around the world.

'TransferRoom will give our clubs new opportunities'

Venezuela’s top two divisions are the latest competitions to open up the global transfer market at a new level after joining TransferRoom on a league-wide deal.

The Venezuelan Liga FUTVE has signed a landmark agreement with TransferRoom, meaning that the 31 teams across the Primera División and Segunda División get access to world football’s digital transfer marketplace.

They gain direct access to the decision makers, real-time data, player availability and transfer market needs at more than 700 clubs worldwide.

It allows Venezuelan clubs to showcase their talents on a global scale like never before, open up opportunities to recruit talent and expand their network in over 100 leagues and 60 countries.

Manuel De Oliveira, the General Manager for Liga FUTVE, says in the video below: “Gaining access to TransferRoom’s network is a very important move and an extraordinary step forward, which enables each club to have direct access to decision makers and Sporting Directors of clubs from so many important leagues around the world.

"We believe that integrating this platform will empower and multiply the possibilities of our clubs in terms of recruiting the best available players and accessing new markets.

“At FUTVE we are always looking for ways to ensure that every Venezuelan club keeps growing.

"We are convinced that a league like ours has the required characteristics to export players, and we are sure that a platform like TransferRoom can help us to reach another level in terms of the exporting of talents and exposure of our players in international markets. And it can make the Venezuelan player even more attractive for the greatest leagues in the world.”

It’s not the first time Venezuelan football has been exposed to TransferRoom. In fact, Caracas FC, with a record 12 top-flight titles, became the country’s first members on the platform earlier in the same year.

After their arrival on TransferRoom, Caracas’s Sporting Director,Miguel Mea Vitali, said: “Caracas Fútbol Club is always trying to innovate, setting the tone day by day.” He adds in the video below “We have to be prepared and up-to-date because football advances and Venezuelan football can't stay behind. We want to stay alert to every detail to ensure the growth of this great institution.

“Having the possibility to be close to around 700 clubs at international level and to promote our players makes TransferRoom an extremely valuable tool which we want to make the most of.”

Why Caracas FC joined TransferRoom

Gaining direct access to a global network of over 350 Trusted Agencies is also a key benefit of being on TransferRoom, with the agents verified as the representatives of their players and able to share a real-time feed of their transfer activity for their talents on the platform.

That has led to further deals for Venezualan clubs, with Trusted Agency Berlin Sports - Bridge for Talents utilising the platform to earn midfielder Moussa Bagayoko the opportunity to play in Copa Libertadores with Carabobo FC.

“It’s my agent that had me on TransferRoom. He told me that many clubs were using it and that many things were happening on this platform,” Bagayoko said.

“It’s a really big platform for player visibility, and it’s really good for my level of experience. It’s a platform that will open up great opportunities in the future. I trust the platform for the future.”
