“I'm pushing my younger guys to be very proactive. They [TransferRoom] have got something going that's very strong here.”

Carlsson was speaking while attending a TransferRoom Summit for the first time in Berlin in March 2025.

Nordic Sky were able to connect with decision-makers from 300 clubs in attendance, with that number going up to 380 when the Online day of meetings in the same event is factored in. They could also hold up to 23 one-to-one meetings and get months’ worth of transfer business done without the extra travel and cost. All in the space of two days.

For Carlsson, the event was a huge success.

“The Summit is amazing,” Carlsson said. “I give that 10 out of 10. It's the first time I'm here. I'm very, very positively surprised over how many clubs are here and the high level of people that are here. Clubs and agents ought to meet more like this.

“Money is always a big issue for any agency or any club, and sometimes. When you travel around to the clubs, they have a busy schedule here. Everyone's open to having meetings. There's a lot of money to be saved by coming here. Clubs and agencies ought to meet more like this.”

TransferRoom Summits are held at key locations worldwide throughout the year, with the next one in Buenos Aires on 3-4 June 2025.

It’s the first TransferRoom Summit in Argentina and the second in South America, after the event came to São Paulo, Brazil, in June 2023.
