Long transfer process solved in one minute for this club on TransferRoom
by Jack Hyom

Brazil's Avaí FC, the academy of Gabriel Magalhães and Raphinha, no longer have a limited network and can showcase players directly to major clubs after joining TransferRoom.

By being able to promote our players to more clubs, we can include more clubs around the deal table, getting one, two or three different proposals, and obtain a bigger power of negotiation than if we were only working on the domestic market with one club interested.
Giovani Dalla Valle
Head of Technical Scouting, Avaí Futebol Clube

Going straight to the top with player sales

Brazil’s Avaí Futebol Clube has a history of producing elite-level talent despite having to compete with a host of high-profile rivals on a small budget.

But restricted by having a restricted network, they have not been able to sell star players directly to major clubs to maximise the transfer fees.

Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhães and FC Barcelona winger Raphinha are among their recent academy graduates.

Gabriel joined LOSC Lille from Avaí in 2017 and Raphinha moved to Vitoria SC in Portugal, before the pair earned their moves to the Premier League with Arsenal and Leeds United respectively.

Now they have found a way to solve that problem.

Avaí have joined TransferRoom, gaining direct access to the decision makers at more than 700 clubs worldwide, giving them a platform to showcase their talents on a global scale without the need to rely on their network or third parties.

As a result, they will waste less time and get the opportunity to spark bidding wars for their talents by pitching to buying clubs in over 100 leagues.

“TransferRoom helps us a lot in accelerating the process of negotiations and player acquisition, as well as sales and loans,” Giovani Dalla Valle, Avaí's Head of Technical Scouting, says in the video below.

“It is quicker to make contact, we waste less time. The process of transfers takes a lot of time these days in Brazilian football, so we need to have the right people in front of us and find the right contacts quicker. TransferRoom is sensational in this sense because it accelerates processes that could take a lot of time and can now be resolved in one minute.

“By being able to promote our players to more clubs, we can include more clubs around the deal table, getting one, two or three different proposals, and obtain a bigger power of negotiation than if we were only working on the domestic market with one club interested. TransferRoom helps us in the sense that we can make more clubs aware of our players. I believe that their transfer value will consequently increase.

“By working on TransferRoom, we increase the volume of player sales. It has already helped us a lot in processes of acquisition and loans of players. Selling players is our main target, but TransferRoom helps us in a more complete way in all areas of the transfer market.”
