Ralf Muhr has left Austria Vienna after nearly 30 years with the Austrian Bundesliga club.

Muhr (pictured) joined the capital club in 1994 and has held a number of roles, including Sporting Director and Technical Director of the men's senior team, Manager and Director of Football for the Under-19s and Academy Manager.

He has most recently been Head of the Licensed Player Department.

Muhr said: "Of course, a separation after such a long and intensive time is also associated with melancholy and a little sadness, but the gratitude and pride at having been an active part of Austria Wien for such a long time clearly outweighs this."

In 2021, Muhr told TransferRoom that Austria Vienna has set its sights on becoming the club in the country that gives opportunities to young players, and how the platform is helping in that process.
