Limited connections outside of homeland
Having established themselves as a permanent fixture in the Allsvenskan in recent years, IF Sirius FK are setting their sights on growing their exposure outside of Sweden.
But to do that, they know they need to open themselves up to a wider network of clubs and decision makers.

Ola Andersson, Sporting Director at IK Sirius, located in Uppsala, near the capital Stockholm, said: “One of the biggest challenges in the transfer market for us is to be efficient and stay one step ahead of the competition.

As with many of their rivals in Scandinavia, particularly Sweden, revenues from operations in the transfer market are essential to the running of the club.
Now on TransferRoom, IK Sirius can pitch their players directly to thousands of ads, react quickly in the market and, as Andersson states, “be more efficient and more connected.”
He continued: “Being part of TransferRoom will increase our chances of being successful in the transfer market. We can be updated daily with key information which will help us create closer relations with clubs outside of Sweden.
“To be efficient, you also need a bigger perspective of the transfer market and TransferRoom certainly gives us the opportunity to always be updated with what is going on in multiple countries.”
