Julien Fournier has quit as Managing Director, Sport at Parma Calcio after less than four months in the role.
President Krause thanks Mr Fournier for his commitment and contribution to improving the management of the business and wished him all the best for the future. Mr Fournier expressed his deepest respect for the history of the club, it’s people and management and wishes them a bright future.
Fournier, the former Director of Football at OGC Nice, only joined Parma in early September and reported directly into Owner and President Kyle Krause (pictured right with Fournier).
However, the Serie B club said Fournier had "expressed the desire to leave the club for personal reasons."
It added: "President Krause thanks Mr Fournier for his commitment and contribution to improving the management of the business and wished him all the best for the future. Mr Fournier expressed his deepest respect for the history of the club, it’s people and management and wishes them a bright future."
Fournier joined Nice in 2011 as CEO, becoming Director of Football in the summer of 2019. He left the French club at the end of the 2021-22 season.
