Chris Galley, the Director of Football and Acting CEO of Crawley Town, has resigned from his duties, the English League Two club have confirmed.
I would like to thank Chris for his efforts during his time with the club. The lads put in a brilliant shift at Hartlepool on Saturday, and I was delighted to see us pick up a very important victory.
He has been at the club since September 2022, and leaves with Crawley's League Two status all but secured, with the team six points above the relegation zone with two matches left following a victory over Hartlepool United on Saturday.
Galley joined the club from football data providers Stats Bomb, where he was Head of Pro Services.
Before that, he was Lead Scout for Germany, Austria and Switzerland at Premier League club Brentford for close to three years.
Co-Chairman Preston Johnson, who has been supporting the staff and players with the day-to-day running of the club during this period, said: “I would like to thank Chris for his efforts during his time with the club.
