CSKA Moscow signed Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke with help from TransferRoom. The Russian Premier League club was able to deal directly with Dutch club Heerenveen via the digital platform in order to set up the €11.5m transfer. 

CSKA sporting director Andrey Movsesyan said: “We were looking to recruit a striker this summer and were looking at different options. We had previously inquired with the agent of Ejuke, who said he was not sure Heerenveen was ready to sell him. After that we used TransferRoom to contact Heerenveen directly and made an offer for the player which they eventually accepted. Loan deal shows power of football's "Match-maker"

This summer CSKA have used TransferRoom also to secure a loan placement for young striker Lassana N’Diaye.

The Mali Under-20 international’s move to Swedish second-tier club Eskilstuna is the perfect example of how the platform brings together decision-makers who might otherwise miss the chance to do business. 

Movsesyan said: “This transfer window we had a few players to find solutions for and one of them was Lassana N’Diaye. He is a player with lots of potential, but we needed to find a club for him to get consistent playing time. “The sporting director inquired about the possibility of bringing N’Diaye to Sweden on loan. Having direct contact with Eskilstuna made it possible to complete the deal in only one week. Without TransferRoom this deal would probably never have happened. It works really fast this way. It was amazing.”
