Claudio Chiellini has left Serie A giants Juventus to join Pisa SC as Sporting Director.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Claudio for the work he has always done with professionalism and passion.

Chiellini, the brother of Juventus and Italy defender Giorgio, has been at the Turin club for over seven years, most recently as On Loan Players Manager and U23 Team Coordinator.

He will officially join Pisa SC on July 1 and has signed a two-year contract. Pisa SC finished 14th in the 20-team Serie B in the 2020-21 season.

Chiellini joined Juventus in early 2014 and played a key role in the career development of the team's 18 to 23-year-old players, forging strong links with clubs across Europe.

In a statement, Juventus said: "Our heartfelt thanks go to Claudio for the work he has always done with professionalism and passion."
