Brøndby Women: TransferRoom will help us build something strong together
by Greg Stubley

Head of Women's Football Kim André Pedersen explains why joining TransferRoom’s Women’s Marketplace is a key step in Brøndby Women’s ambition to strengthen their network, expand internationally and continue their historic success.

We are joining TransferRoom to connect, build our network and work smarter. TransferRoom can break down the lines between clubs and make the collaboration easier and better.
Kim André Pedersen
Head of Women's Football, Brøndby Women

A historic club with European ambition

Few clubs in Scandinavian women’s football can match the legacy of Brøndby Women.

With a proud history and a reputation as one of the biggest clubs in the women’s game, the ambition remains clear: to consistently compete at the top.

“The success of Brøndby Women from a historical point of view is massive. We are one of the biggest clubs in the women’s game,” says Head of Women's Football, Kim André Pedersen. “Our vision is to be a top two club in Denmark and compete in Europe with a strong Danish structure.”

That balance between domestic identity and international competitiveness is central to the club’s long-term strategy.

To support this approach, the club joined TransferRoom’s new Women’s Marketplace.

“We are joining TransferRoom to connect, build our network and work smart and better,” Pedersen explains. “TransferRoom can break down the lines between clubs and make the collaboration easier and better.”

In a fast-evolving women’s transfer landscape, direct access to decision-makers and clear communication channels are becoming increasingly important.

TransferRoom's Women’s Marketplace enables clubs to move quickly, initiate transfer dialogue and explore opportunities beyond their traditional networks.

“By being on the marketplace, suddenly making connections, engaging in dialogue and having endless possibilities will now help improve the women’s game,” he adds.

As the women’s game grows across Europe and beyond, insight into different leagues and markets is a competitive advantage.

“We now have easier access to people in other countries. We can expand our knowledge with different leagues to get unique insights,” says Pedersen.

For a club with European ambitions, that visibility is crucial. Access to reliable information, transparent communication and international contacts helps ensure recruitment decisions are aligned with both sporting objectives and financial sustainability.

The introduction of the new Women’s Marketplace builds on how TransferRoom has revolutionised the Men’s transfer market with a dedicated platform to connect directly with the key decision makers across clubs and agencies globally.

Beyond networking and opportunities, TransferRoom provides the most comprehensive coverage on player data, covering over 12,000 players across 45 leagues and providing intelligence across a range of data points.

Pedersen’s message to clubs not yet on the platform is simple:

“My message to those who aren't on TransferRoom is: ‘Join!’ Let’s connect to improve all aspects of the Women’s game. Let’s build something strong together.”

It’s not just on TransferRoom’s online marketplace that Women’s clubs can connect. Over 100 top executives from clubs and agencies will be meeting in person at the first-ever TransferRoom Leaders: Women’s Football Forum on 27th February 2026.

Hosted at Stamford Bridge in London, England, transfer market decision-makers from clubs and agencies across the global game will meet for a day of networking and negotiations.

Building on the successful format of TransferRoom Live events with the Men’s Marketplace, there will be:

  • 12 rounds of 15-minute one-to-one meetings, where every participant can book in a meeting with another club or agency executive to fast-track transfer negotiations and build relationships.
  • 2 on-stage panel discussions, with leading figures in the women’s game sharing exclusive insights to our audience
