Minnesota United have enhanced their scouting and recruitment operations by naming Andrew Gregor as Director of Scouting and Hank Stebbins as Assistant Technical Director.
We are excited to have Hank and Andrew on board. These additions continue the comprehensive development of our sporting staff and will greatly aid us in building our sporting vision and analytics, as well as player recruitment and retention.
Gregor (pictured above) joins the club following a successful tenure with Portland Timbers from 2011 to 2020. The fellow MLS side won two Western Conference titles while he was in the role.
He also coached at collegiate level and previously played professionally in MLS and the USL. He will oversee the scouting department, establish the club's sporting vision, and manage player recruitment.
Stebbins is known for his expertise in contract negotiations, having worked with the USL, its players and coaches. He will support the Technical Director in recruitment, roster management, and overseeing the club's scouting network. He has also worked with MLS NEXT Pro.
"We are excited to have Hank and Andrew on board," said MNUFC Technical Director Mark Watson. "These additions continue the comprehensive development of our sporting staff and will greatly aid us in building our sporting vision and analytics, as well as player recruitment and retention."
MNUFC are in eighth position in the MLS Western Conference and secured sixth place in 2022.
