Stefan Majewski, the former Sporting Director of the PZPN, the Polish FA, has taken on the same position at KS Cracovia.
Cracovia was close to me, I had the opportunity to work here as a coach, and now I will be able to share my experience. My duties are written in the contract. I will work with the first team coach and all the coaches employed by the club. I hope that we will manage to improve the quality of training together.
It marks a return to Cracovia for Majewski, who managed the club between 2006 and 2008.
The 65-year-old had been Sporting Director of the PZPN since 2012, leaving the association last month. He is a former manager of the national team at U21 level and played 40 times for the senior Poland team.
Majewski, who will work closely with Manager Michał Probierz, said: "Cracovia was close to me, I had the opportunity to work here as a coach, and now I will be able to share my experience. My duties are written in the contract. I will work with the first team coach and all the coaches employed by the club. I hope that we will manage to improve the quality of training together."
