Radovan Vujanovic has been promoted to the role of Managing Director of Sport at LASK, the Austrian Bundesliga club has announced.
I am very happy about the trust that the club is showing me with this step. Whether as a player, as Sports Director or now as Managing Director of Sports - I have always tried to get the best out of LASK and that will also be my aim in the future.
Vujanovic has signed a contract to June 2027, having been promoted from Sporting Director, a role he has held since September 2021.
The 41-year-old will now be responsible for the strategic and long-term sporting development at LASK. He will continue to be supported by Sporting Coordinator Dino Buric and Technical Coordinator Valentin Grubeck.
When Vujanovic joined the club, LASK were second from bottom. Three transfer windows later, they sit third in the table.
Vujanovic said: "I am very happy about the trust that the club is showing me with this step. Whether as a player, as Sporting Director or now as Managing Director of Sports - I have always tried to get the best out of LASK and that will also be my aim in the future."
After retiring as a player in 2019, Vujanovic became Sporting Director of fourth-tier Austrian side ASKO Oedt.
