Dundee United to make wider changes as Ashgar quits as Sporting Director
by Jonathan Rest
Tony Ashgar has left his role as Sporting Director of Dundee United with immediate effect, the Scottish Premiership club has announced.
Following more than four years at the club, Tony has decided to leave his post to allow the new First Team Manager to be appointed within a revamped structure in the Football Department.

Dundee United are without a manager after Liam Fox left by mutual consent at the end of February, and Ashgar said he too would leave his post to allow the new manager to be appointed "within a revamped structure within the Football Department."
Ashgar has been at the club for more than four years, before which he was in a consultancy role linked to football.
Dundee United's board and CEO Luigi Capuano will now lead the process of hiring a new manager before any decision is made on the make up and responsibilities of the wider football department.
